BobCommander is free to download and use without an account. It does not need your name, email address, or payment details to work. The product and this portal use only the limited, optional measurement described below.
Desktop application
Anonymous usage reporting is your choice.
The first-run question defaults to No, and upgrading does not opt an existing installation in. You can change the decision at any time in Settings → Updates → Anonymous usage.
- When enabled, it sendsA random installation identifier, app version, channel and edition, Windows version, processor architecture, and the Windows country and language setting.
- It does not sendFile names, paths, file contents, machine or user names, credentials, or an activity history.
- No IP geolocationThe country is read from the Windows region setting; no address is sent to a geolocation service.

Download portal
Analytics need consent.
By default, this site stores only the choice that controls the consent banner in your own browser. It loads no third-party analytics script until you allow analytics.
- Necessary preference
bobcommander.consentis stored locally so the consent banner is not shown again. It contains no identifier and is not sent to us. - Google Analytics 4After consent, it measures page and download use with advertising purposes denied. Rejecting or ignoring the banner means the Google tag is not loaded.
- Control stays with youUse the cookie preferences control on the home page to change your choice. A Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a rejection.
